Tsogyel-dun Sol’dep

Tsogyel-dun Sol’dep (tshig bDun gSol 'debs / ཚིག་བདུན་གསོལ་འདེབས་) the Seven Line Song of Guru Rinpoche is one of the central practises of the Aro gTér. It is chanted as liturgy (dönpa) and sung as Dzogchen Trèk-chod (yang) according to many several different vajra melodies from Kyabjé Düd’jom Rinpoche Jig’drèl Yeshé Dorje, Kyabjé Künzang Dorje Rinpoche, ‘Khordong gTérchen Tulku Chhi’mèd Rig’dzin Rinpoche, and Kyabjé Min-ling Trichen Rinpoche — as well as from the gTérma of Khyungchen Aro Lingma (1886–1923)

Lotus Lama of the Ultimate Siddhi

ༀ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སི་དྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ༔
Hung: heart syllable of Guru Rinpoche, quintessence of all teachings and practises.
It is either 4, 5, or 6 sections according to the view expressed.

Hung: Ögyen yul gyi nub chang tsam:
Visualise Padmasambhava with a Blue Hung: at his heart. From the Blues Hung: a Red A’a: emerges and rises to his throat. From the Red A’a: a White Om emerges and rises to his forehead

Light rays from the Hung: connect with us.

Ya tsan chö-gi ngö-drüp nyé:
Light rays from the A’a: connect with us.

Pema Jung-né Shé-su drag:
Light rays from the Om: connect with us.

'Khordu khandro mang-pö ’khor:
Light ray Hung: A’a: and Om context with us simultaneously

Merge with Padmasambhava and dissolve into space
