Shi-né is the most basic meditation technique taught in the Aro gTér. The Tibetan word Shi-né means “peaceful abiding”.

In this short introduction, Ngakma Déwang Pamo explains the basic principle of this method: We let what appears in our mind come - and go. We don't get involved. We don't judge. We don't name. And we're not holding on.

We give ourselves time and space to rest peacefully - and open ourselves to the experience of what manifests when our thoughts calm down.
