sKu mNyé: Dasein in Bewegung
Practice group with Trak'thung Dorje & Déwang Pamo.Online only
Following the encouragement of Ngak'chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen, Ngakma Déwang Pamo and Naljorpa Trak'thung Dorje teach in English as well as German.
With much joy and humour they lead a growing international sangha and pass on the teachings and practice methods of the Aro gTér Lineage.
For members of the public, Ngakma Déwang Pamo and Naljorpa Trak'thung Dorje offer weekly teachings and group practice online. Whenever possible, they also hold face-to-face retreats, mostly in the German-speaking region where they currently live with their children.
Personal students (who are “apprentices“) receive additional guidance individually and as a group, in order to support the integration of practice into everyday life, as well as study. Creativity, craft and social interaction play a major part in the sangha as well.
As working parents, Ngakma Déwang and Naljorpa Trak'thung engage in practice while involved in professional and family life (yes, this is possible, and most worthwhile indeed).
The teachings and lives of the Mahasiddhas as presented in the gTérma of Jomo Pema 'ö-Zér are a great inspiration to them – as they show that it is indeed possible to integrate practice into every aspect of life. Ngakma Déwang and Naljorpa Trak'thung also focus on the living application of the teachings on Vajra Romance (Khandro dPa'wo Nyi-da Mélong Gyüd).
Ngakma Déwang has been the German translator for Ngak'chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen for many years. She has been studying Tibetan language and culture and enjoys communicating in the colourful international sangha. Her practice of thangka painting focusses on bringing forth the lineage’s main yidams as a vivid practice support for apprentices.
Naljorpa Trak'thung specialises in the physical practices of sKu-mNyé, which he has been practising for over 20 years and teaching regularly since 2010. He is also known for his powerful voice and down-to-earth humour.
