Retreat with Seng-gé Dorje

A Zoom apprentice retreat with Ngakpa Seng-ge Dorje which will run from

November 23-26, 2026

Retreatants will have the following option:

Attend observing a solitary retreat schedule and attend Zoom sessions

Attend Zoom sessions, keep as many practice sessions as is possible, while making time when necessary for your other life commitments — most flexible option.

Attend Zoom sessions, while not observing any part of a solitary retreat schedule.

Every retreatant have the latest copy of the Aro Tradition practice book and Rinpoche’s new book, Goodbye Forever.

The retreat schedule will be set so that people on the West and East coast of the United States will be able to attend the greatest number of Zoom sessions. The solitary retreat schedules will be customized by time zone so that anyone can engage in the retreat, but due to time zone differences, it could be that some attendees will not be able to attend all of the Zoom sessions.

What I need to know is who would like to attend the retreat, and of those, who would like to observe the solitary retreat, and who will attend the Zoom sessions, but not observe the solitary retreat. To make things simple, anyone who would like to observe as many of the solitary retreat sessions as possible, but may need flexibility with the schedule, can simply observe as many sessions as possible.

Again, if you are interested, explain to what extent you would like to be involved, and I will create a list of interested people.

Much Love,

Dear Retreatants:

As stated in the original flyer, the subject for this retreat is and attendees have the option during the solitary practice periods to either focus more on silent sitting or yidam practice. Either way, please do have a copy of the above text for your own reference ahead of time.

Below are retreat schedules. I have created a retreat schedule for the Central, West and East Coast time zones of the United States. You might run your retreat schedule by your personal teacher to see if he/she believes a different structure of practices might benefit you. Obviously the group sessions will be what they are, but your own personal teacher may wish you to approach the solitary sessions differently. Some of you may simply sit in on teaching sessions or attend practice sessions which is fine. As for yidam practice, please do practice whichever yidam your teacher has given you at this time.

If you live in a timezone I have not created a schedule for, please do let me know ASAP exactly what the time difference is, and I will attempt to create an accurate schedule. The one constant for all schedules will be the group sessions/teachings. Once you receive your schedule, please do double check it against the West Coast time schedule to make sure I have not made an error. I seem to be all thumbs with schedules and schedulers. Nonetheless, I know there are several of you, and if you can each send the time difference between where you live versus California, that will help a bunch. For instance, do send me 8, or 9.5, or 10 hours ahead. Do not send me, I live in GMT time zone.

To reiterate — this retreat is open to people who wish to be involved at any level, as long as the retreatant is a current Aro Tradition apprentice.
