In a beautiful setting in the Catskill Mountains, there will be an opportunity to view work on the Aro Monumental Phurba & the applique thangka of Dorje Trollo being fabricated at the apprentice craft retreat.
There will be a performance of Dorje Phurba Dance from the Aro Tradition & a teaching on yidam (meditational deity) practice.
This represents a rare opportunity in the West to witness traditional tantric ritual & craft work.

There is no charge for this event.
All Aro gTer events are non-smoking. Smokers are welcome to attend, but in accordance with Nyingma teaching, and Vajrayana Buddhism in general, we require participants to desist from the smoking of tobacco for the entire duration of the event – both on or off the premises where events are held. Tobacco in any form should not be brought to the event.
