A weekend of Tibetan language and culture with Ngawang Ten'dzin
Teaching with Ngak’chang Rinpoche & Khandro Déchen
Drala Jong UK In-person only Apprentices only
Ngawang Ten'dzin was born in central Tibet. He escaped to India where he studied English and Tibetan. He has spent most of his life translating and interpreting Buddhist teachings, Tibetan literature, interviews and talks between Tibetan and English speakers. Since settling in London in 2006 he has been teaching Tibetan language as an additional language in one-to-one sessions as well as in classes.
Ngawang has been teaching Sang-gyé A-tsal and Khandro Dechen for the past 5 years. They have found Ngawang's passion for teaching the Tibetan language immeasurably valuable in the way in which it reflects the teachings. Come and join us for a weekend of language, culture and fun.
A little previous study of Tibetan would be useful though is not required.
The weekend will commence on Friday 4th October for dinner and end on Sunday 6th after lunch.
