Searching and Shopping for Drala Jong – raising money at no cost to yourself

Dear Supporters,

We would very much like your help in raising money for Drala Jong and it won’t cost you a penny – you simply need to search the web and shop. Sang-ngak-chö-dzong, the UK charity of the Aro gTér Lineage, is registered with two online services that help raising money for charities.

How it works

Web search: When you use the alternative search engine Everyclick instead of Google or Yahoo, the web searches that you make will raise small amounts of money for our charity.
Online shopping: When you start all your online shopping trips via the website Give as you live, you can choose your favourite place for online shopping there (like e.g. Amazon, Ebay, Marks & Spencer, Boots, and others) and a small percentage of your amount spent later will go to our charity and thus help funding Drala Jong.

Both services will not cost you anything.

To make it work

In order to support the Drala Jong appeal, you need to sign up with these services and identify yourself as a supporter of Sang-ngak-chö-dzong on all devices that you use for searching the web or online shopping. Everyclick and Give as you Live are services by the same company.

This is how to do it:

1. Register
   Please start here https://www.everyclick.com/sangngakchodzong
   Then carry out these four steps:
   Sign up -> Create Your Account -> Enter Your Details – Finish
   Then you will be asked to Sign In with the email address and password that you have just given.
2. Choose Sang-ngak-chö-dzong
   Then all you have to do is make sure that the cause you are supporting is ‘Sang-ngak-chö-dzong’.

   My Account -> Change charity -> Search for 1019886 -> Charity Details -> Support this charity

3. Searching & Shopping
   From then on for searching the web please use https://www.everyclick.com
   And for shopping please start from https://www.giveasyoulive.com

Both pages show that you are logged in and that you are supporting Sang-ngak-chö-dzong.

MONEY

All money raised for Drala Jong helps, even when it is only pennies, they all add up. Our expectation is that we can raise as much as £1,000 a year if as many people as possible use the services frequently.

Is there a catch?

Give as you live will link you mainly to UK-based websites, like Amazon.co.uk, Boots, etc. So it might turn out to be primarily an option for UK-based shoppers and everybody who wants to buy with British shops. You will find that some of the shops available via Give as You Live offer generous percentages – Boots offers 4%. So if you are going shopping online, please go via https://www.giveasyoulive.com to find your shop, and Drala Jong will receive the money.

Everyclick will work internationally, so we all can start searching the web with it now.
