Khandro Pema Yudrön (Sky-dancing Lotus of Turquoise Light), was the youngest daughter of Kyabjé Düd’jom Rinpoche Jig’drèl Yeshé Dorje and Sangyum Kushog Tsétèn Yüdrön.

She was considered a khandro from birth and in 1947, Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentsé Chökyi Lodrö recognised her as a wisdom emanation of Khandro Dorje Phagmo. (mKha’ ‘gro rDo rJe phag mo /. / Vajravarahi).

Kyabjé Dung-sré Thrin-lé Norbu Rinpoche in his book ‘A Brief Fantasy Story of a Himalayan’ wrote of his younger sister Srémo Pema Yüdrön: ‘She looked like an angel princess who had just descended from the sky. I thought that if the drought of human aging did not exist, she would always be the thief of every hero's heart."

Khandro Pema Yüdrön was born in the hidden land of Pemakö in 1935. Since a young age, she was naturally gifted with intelligence and kindness. She was beautiful, gentle, and had all the physical signs of a khandro.

At Dudjom Rinpoche's residence, Lama Ling, in Kongpo, she completed her education in reading, writing and the basic sciences with various Lamas such as Do-ring Trülku Rinpoche and Chogtrül Ögyen Demchog.

After having received the Wang, Lung, and Tri of the Düd‘jom gTér, she devoted her life to study and practice.

She lived the life of a hidden naljorma. In the early morning of March 9, 2021, she told those around her: "Do not worry. There is no need to seek my incarnation. All who feel a connection with me in the practice of Lama’i Naljor and reciting mantra, are inseparable from me."

At twenty minutes past six her mind dissolved into the expanse of reality.

On the 6th of April, 2021, Düd‘jom Yangsrid Rinpoche III Sang-gyé Pema Shépa and Dola Chogtrül Yangsrid Rinpoche presided over her cremation. Everyone in attendance witnessed the rainbow halo around the sun and other sky-signs which indicated the passing of a realised master.
