Ying’khor, standing movement and meditation
Training and practice weekend with Maria Tarvas in San Bruno, CA
Weekend event with Rin’dzin Pamo
US In-person only
This two day event will introduce Ying’khor, a cycle of 25 standing movements based in Buddhist Dzogchen meditation practice. Many Ying’khor are not difficult to learn: the practice is one of maintaining awareness in the sensation that arises during repetitive movement. The Ying’khor originate in the Ling Gésar gTérma of Rang-rig Togden, a lineage nestled within the Aro gTér Vajrayana Buddhist tradition, transmitted by Ngak’chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen.
Daytime attendance will be oriented to meditation and physical practice. There will be an option to attend teachings, book rTsa mNyé massage, and ask more questions about Ying'khor and the context of Vajrayana Buddhism following the event, on Monday 2nd. Please register interest for Monday attendance with Rin’dzin - see email in contact info.
