West Coast Book Club

Beginning in April, we are reading E-mailing the Lamas from Afar: Heart Advice from Two Buddhist Teachers to Their Students, by Ngak'chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen. This book began with Rinpoche's and Déchen's responses to questions from their students about how to understand Vajrayana teachings in relation to their "ordinary" lives. After some years of receiving these extraordinary responses, apprentices began to request these answers to be preserved on the apprentice website, and they became gDams Ngags, or "Heart Advice". From there, the advice became the book we are studying. All meetings are open to the public
