Thunderbolt of Totality
Stories of Kyabjé Künzang Dorje Rinpoche
Weekend event with Ngak’chang Rinpoche
US In-person only
Ngak’chang Rinpoche speaks of his root teacher, Kyabjé Künzang Dorje Rinpoche, who passed away in September 2010. These teachings will be based around readings from Ngak’chang Rinpoche’s new book, Wisdom Eccentrics, and will thus be a unique opportunity to hear this material prior to publication. Künzang Dorje Rinpoche, like Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, was known as a wrathful Lama, and this weekend will provide an intimate insight into what that means. Vajra-rage or wrathful compassion is widely misunderstood. Ngak’chang Rinpoche will address this subject from the perspective of the four buddhakarmas, in order to illustrate the rôle of the vajra master according to each: enrichment, pacification, magnetization, and destruction.
dBang (Empowerment) of Dorje Phurba
