The Method of the Mahasiddhas
Lecture & Weekend Course
Seminar with Shardröl Du-nyam Wangmo
Germany In-person only
An exploration of the rich and dramatic teachings of the Mahasiddhas and the radical perspective of Dzogchen, this living lineage of teaching reaches back to the dawn of Tantra in ancient India. The Mahasiddhas were the forefathers and foremothers of those practitioners who have continued to implement the indivisibility of emptiness and form as a method by which every nuance of life becomes practice.
The Mahasiddha tradition is the tradition of householders as well as wandering yogis and yoginis. Many realised masters of this tradition have been nomads or farmers who have been illiterate, yet who bequeathed teachings which have occupied scholars for centuries. The method of integrating practice into the experience of everyday life is a profound practice of finding the presence of awareness (rigpa) in all of one’s experience. Ngakma Shardröl will teach this method, which is the Dzogchen practice of Trek - Chöd.
Ngakma Shardröl is an ordained Lama and disciple of the Dzogchen Lamas Ngak’chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen.
