Teachings for Every Day

"Tracts of the Sun" is a compilation of quotations from the Aro gTér lineage holders, Ngak'chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen, for each day of the year.

Each Friday evening we will use the quotations of the week as the starting point for an interactive and varied journey into the fundamental teachings of the Aro gTér, which will evolve through conversation with participants.

Reading the book with accompanying commentary is particularly well suited for those who take a new or renewed interest in the teachings and methods of the Aro gTér, as many different topics and questions will be explored.

Based on your questions about each week's citations, Ngakma Déwang and Naljorpa Traktung will pick out individual focal points in the sessions and examine them more closely.

Accompanying reading of the book is highly recommended. To prepare for the session, we ask you to read the quotes for all calendar days of the corresponding week and take some time to reflect and digest.
