sKu-mNyé is a system of 111 physical exercises that ‘massage’ the ‘spatial nerves’ of the energetic body – giving rise to extraordinary sensations. In these nyams (meditation experiences) it is possible to find the presence of non-dual awareness—rigpa—momentary enlightenment.

The practice of the this Vajrayana Buddhist movement practice alternates between active movement parts, and a lying down still part of meditation. The exercises are entirely unlike any other system of movement or exercise. They do not resemble yoga, dance, T’ai Ch’i, or martial arts. They range from gentle to exceedingly difficult. Some can be performed by almost everyone.

Primarily performed as a dynamic meditation practice, sKu-mNyé is also beneficial in other ways, generating a tremendous cheerfulness, creative clarity and verve.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, it is also ideal for anyone who has some experience.

Saturday will be focused on explanation and instruction, Sunday will have more emphasis on revision, questions and how to continue and to develop a practice.

"Every human being is animated by moving patterns of energy - they are rich, vivid and powerful. We can discover these subtle landscapes of energy within ourselves. We can experience their depth and resonate with their vibrant harmonies." Khandro Déchen

During this practical workshop we we learn some of the exercises along with explanations and short periods of meditation. There will be lots of opportunity to ask questions.
