
Introduction to the Aro Tér

On the second Monday of each month, the Bay Area Aro Tér community meets to offer an introduction to the Aro Lineage and its unique perspective and practices.
Ordained and other Sangha members offer instruction in aspects of Vajrayana Buddhist practice. Topics may include the view and practice of Yogic Song, The Psycho-physical Elements, Bardo, Seven Line Song, Tsog Khorlo, The Four Naljors of Dzogchen Sems-de (silent sitting in the style of Dzogchen), sKu mNyé, and other introductory teachings on Buddhism. Teachers in training will be available to answer questions, and your interests will determine the direction of the discussion. We meet from 7:30-9 pm.
On the last Monday of each month, we celebrate Tsog Khorlo, which usually ends closer to 10pm. On Mondays other than the second and last we practice Yogic Song, visualization, and silent sitting according to the Aro Tradition.
