Green Man sponsored walk for Drala Jong
Teaching
Aro Ling Bristol
UK
In-person only
On Saturday June 30th apprentices and friends of the Aro Tradition will be engaged in a sponsored relay walk on the Green Man Path around Bristol to raise money for the Drala Jong Retreat Centre Appeal.
The Green Man Challenge follows the 45 mile course of the Community Forest Path around the city, which was developed by the Forest of Avon Trust team. Anyone who completes the whole course within twenty-four hours will be entitled to be called a Woodwose and their name will be entered in the Forestal Book of the Honourable Order of Woodwoses. Anyone who is part of a successful "baton" relay team that completes the circuit in under twenty-four hours will be described as a Woodwight.
We aim to become Woodwights – i.e. we will have a relay with people walking 5, 10, or 15 miles stages (or further if desired).
We would love to have more people join us on the walk. Please contact Shé-zér Khandro if you would like to participate.
Event takes place on the 30th of June
