The fourteen vows of Vajrayana can be viewed as an everyday guide to living an excellent life - as kind and considerate human beings, with a sense of honour and integrity. They embrace awareness and kindness. The fourteen root vows used to be a secret teaching - only revealed to those taking Vajra Commitment at ordination. Nowadays they are commonly known and can be found in books and on websites, and are presented publicly.

Ngakma Nor’dzin and Ngakpa ’ö-Dzin will discuss the root vows in the context of everyday life, ordinary relationships and psychological health.

Ngakma Nor’dzin and Ngakpa ’ö-Dzin are a teaching couple of the Aro gTér Lineage. The day will include periods of meditation practice, and teachings.

Refreshments will be provided for the morning tea break. Please bring a packed lunch.
