Where do we exist most of the time? In a peaceful, calm state, experiencing all phenomena as inspiring? Or stressed, confused, and slightly overwhelmed, experiencing life as out of control? Is death like a frightening black hole that will consume us sometime in the future, or can it be recognised as a moment-by-moment experience? The world ‘karma’ has become common parlance, but what does it really mean in Buddhist terms?

Our usual experience can be one of dissatisfaction - too much of what we don’t want and too little of what we do want. Even when things are going really well, there can still be a niggling sensation of something missing, or a feeling of hollowness.

Meditation can unravel the patterns that create dissatisfaction. Through meditation we become transparent to ourselves and learn to experience directly, to experience as it is rather than as we wish it was. As it is can then become infinitely delightful - a kaleidoscope of possibilities.

Ngakma Nor’dzin and Ngakpa ’ö-Dzin are a teaching couple of the Aro gTér Lineage. The day will include periods of meditation practice, and teachings.

Refreshments will be provided for the morning tea break. Please bring a packed lunch.
