Following in the Buddha’s Footsteps
An Introduction to Seven Line Song (and more)
Class with Déwang Pamo & Trak'thung Dorje
Online only
“The Seven Line Song of Padmasambhava is a stirring anthem to freedom and to the sheer glee evoked by direct insight into the nature of reality."
Ngak'chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen
What does it mean to follow in the footsteps of a Buddha – and how would one go about it in practical terms of view, meditation and action?
In this class, Ngakma Déwang and Naljorpa Traktung will take a look at how these questions might be answered from the point of view of Vajrayana Buddhism and the Aro gTér lineage in particular.
The teachings will include a basic introduction to Seven Line Song (Dorje Tsigdun / rDo rJe Tsig tshig bDun), which shall help those who are new to the path to approach and enter into this special practice.
The talks on Saturday evening will be accompanied by practice sessions during the week. We highly recommend that participants combine study and practice in this way as far as their life circumstances allow.
