Class with Mé-tsal Wangmo & Ja'gyür Dorje

Navigating the intricacies of modern life as a sane and decent human being can prove challenging. What stance do I take on current issues? How do I engage with the increasing complexities of life in a kind and honourable way? Even, what should I eat and wear? This 3 week course will explore the ‘Owl Precepts’ as support for this navigation - through the application of awareness in our daily lives. The ‘owl precepts’ originate in the gTérma of Khyungchen Aro Lingma – the great female Tibetan visionary, and explain the 5 precepts of Buddhism from a unique Dzogchen perspective. These precepts are not really concerned with the sphere of relative morality but with the sphere of non-dual awareness, and the subtle dimension of all interaction. They begin with practice; but then move out from formal practice into every aspect of our interaction with the world.
