Weekend event with Nor’dzin Pamo & ’ö-Dzin Tridral

At the heart of Tibetan medicine is Buddhism - and its application is intrinsically connected with Buddhist practice. At the heart of Vajrayana are the elements - and an understanding of the qualities of earth, water, fire, air and space is essential. Imbalances of the elements create physical, emotional and mental health problems which can be addressed through adjustments to diet and lifestyle, and through elemental therapy. Ngakma Nor’dzin and Ngakpa ’ö-Dzin will give an introduction to the five elements and the Aro system of elemental balancing. The practical method of pulse diagnosis will be taught, including how to interpret the diagnosis and address any elemental imbalance. Ngakma Nor’dzin will also explain the Mahayoga practise of weaving amulets to influence the balance of elements for the benefit of oneself or others.
