Talk with Zér-mé Dri’mèd

Padmasambhava, founder of Buddhism in Tibet, said

"My view is as wide as the sky, but my actions

are like grains of flour." The essential teachings of Buddhism have been

expressed through many different methods and practices in order to communicate with different cultures and in different times.

Naljorpa Ögyen Dorje and Ngakma Zér-mé Dri'mèd

will discuss the vehicles, or "yanas," of Buddhism,

and explain the essential teachings behind

apparently conflicting or even contradictory

views and practices. They will provide keys

to understanding the principle and function

behind these Buddhist approaches to the human

condition. Practices of Yogic Song from the Aro

Tradition, with traditional instruments, will

also be offered.
