The ancient practice of creating amulets to benefit oneself or others will be introduced in this day workshop. A symbolic statement of kindly intent is enclosed within a woven symbol of liberation. The colours yellow, white, red, green or blue are used, relating to the equanimity and richness of the earth element; the clarity of the water element; the warmth and kindness of the fire element; the energetic capacity of the air element; and the all-encompassing wisdom of the space element.

Woven amulets are small and decorative. They can be hung in a room or worn to effectuate the intention in their creation. In this day workshop, Ngakma Nor’dzin and Ngakpa ’ö-Dzin will introduce the principles and purpose of amulets, and guide you through the creation of a simple amulet to take home.

Ngakma Nor’dzin and Ngakpa ’ö-Dzin are a teaching couple of the Aro gTér Lineage.
