In-person only
In October 2017 Ngakma Nor’dzin and Ngakpa ’ö-Dzin were part of a group of Aro gTér Lineage practitioners on pilgrimage in Bhutan. They visited many important places where great practitioners had spent time in retreat, such as Padmasambhava, Yeshé Tsogyel, Ma-gCig Labdrön, Jigmé Lingpa, and Drukpa Kunlegs.
In the morning session they will give a presentation of the places visited, such as the Memorial Stupa and Dordenma Statue in Thimphu, Tiger’s Nest Monastery near Paro, Drakarpo, Tharpaling Monastery, and Jambay, Kurjey and Tamshing Lhakangs in Bumthang. They will also talk about the value and importance of pilgrimage.
In the afternoon there will be Vajrayana practice, including the Riwo Sang Chod (ri bo bSang mChod) smoke offering ceremony, to welcome the arrival of the Western New Year.
Ngakma Nor’dzin and Ngakpa ’ö-Dzin are a teaching couple of the Aro gTér Lineage.
