Becoming a Tantrika
- a talk on non-monastic Buddhist practice and Vajrayana Apprenticeship
Talk with Mé-tsal Wangmo & Ja'gyür Dorje
UK In-person only
The Vajrayana path of transformation is well suited to people who are inspired to practise using their everyday life circumstances as the path to realisation, who wish to practise within the context of careers, family, relationships, and society. The Aro gTér apprenticeship programme continues an ancient tradition of small groups of personal students practising and studying in close relationship with their teachers. It presents an opportunity to delve deeper into the world of Buddhist Vajrayana and is for those who seek the guidance of a teacher in their personal practice and wish to study the teachings, participate in the community of practitioners, and experiment with the teacher-student-dynamic in an open spirit, bound only by the rules of basic human kindness and openness to change.
The evening will include the opportunity (optional) to take part in a refuge ceremony.
