An introduction to the yogic movement practice of Yin'khor
Workshop
Aro Ling Bristol
UK
In-person only
Yin’khor exercises involve subtle movements practised in a standing position. Some of these include visualising coloured light synchronised with the breath and others use sound as vocalised syllables. Although these are rather subtle yogic exercises, they are suitable for all kinds of people, and have several benefits such as improving health, longevity, enthusiasm and life force called lungta. Whether you’ve been introduced to these exercises before or are a complete newbie, you are warmly invited to attend this event.
The programme will be taught by Maria Tarvas, an experienced teacher of physical practices within the Aro gTér tradition. Maria will give a presentation of the principles underlying Yin’khor and this will be followed by a practice of the various forms of Yin’khor exercises.
Please bring loose and comfortable clothes and a bottle of water.
