Retreat with Déwang Pamo & Trak'thung Dorje

During this week amidst a beautiful mountain scenery, we will dedicate ourselves to silent sitting, yogic song, and the physical exercises of sKu-mNyé, as well as creativity in the context of practice.

Teachings will generally focus on the Dzogchen view and meditation methods according to the Aro gTér. Through practicing meditation, we will experientially approach the 'Art of Freedom', a term coined by Ngak'chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen, the lineage holders of the Aro gTér.

In the evenings, emphasis will be put on exploring selected hagiographies and method of the 84 Mahasiddhas according to Jomo Pema ’ö-Zér’s gTérma of the Drüpchen Gyad-çu Zhi.

This retreat is open to anyone who is interested in receiving teachings and practicing meditation according to the Aro gTér lineage. No Buddhist background required, just openness to find out what it can mean to be a practitioner.

There will be ample opportunity to clarify individual questions, and for private conversation with the teachers. Families with children are very welcome.

"We live within a work of Art that creates itself in relation to our participation. The more we participate in the Art of existence the more its quality as Art becomes apparent. (...) When we learn to allow our senses to make direct contact with the fields of the senses – we learn how to enjoy the display of everyone and everything everywhere."

- Ngak'chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen
