Sang ngak cho dzong will hold its annual general meeting at Aro Ling Buddhist Centre on Sunday, 22 February at 2.00pm. In this meeting we will discuss the year’s achievements and challenges and the committee officers will be elected. The meeting is open to members of the charity and interested members of the public.

Sang-ngak-chö-dzong is the charity organisation for the Confederation of Aro Sanghas in Great Britain. It exists to support, forward and realise the aims of Aro gTér Lineage, the vision of the current Lineage Holders, Ngak’chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen.

The name Sang-ngak-chö-dzong was the name given by Kyabjé Düd’jom Rinpoche, one of Ngak’chang Rinpoche’s Tsa wa’i Lamas and indeed one of the most revered Nyingma Lamas of recent time, specifically for the work of establishing the gö-kar-chang-lo’i dé, the non-celibate householder tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, in the West. Therefore this is the first stated aim in the charity’s constitution.
